What is high-flow priapism?
High-flow priapism is less common and usually not as painful as low-flow priapism or intermittent priapism. It often happens after an injury to the penis or the area between the scrotum and anus, which can affect how blood flows.
This chapter contains general information about high-flow priapism. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment. Always consult your doctor or healthcare provider for guidance on your individual medical situation.
